		</p><p>In early 2011, we worked with the wonderful designer (and our good friend) Kim Lewis to makeover the Stephenville, Texas, home of Grammy award-winning singer Jewel. Daltile&#8217;s Manufactured Stone, natural stones and tile were used throughout the rustic home that the singer shares with her rodeo star husband, Ty Murray.</p>
<p>Kim knows a thing or two about making over houses &#8211; she was one of the top design producers for the ABC hit show <em>Extreme Makeover: Home Edition</em> for most of the show&#8217;s nine-season run. The Cooper Smith Agency team worked with the <em>EMHE</em> team on EVERY SINGLE episode of the show, including the pilot back in late 2005. We have successfully secured product placements for our building products and home decor clients on nearly 210 episodes in all.</p>
<p>Below is a slideshow of photos from the home. We haven&#8217;t been able to share them with you until now &#8211; only after the home was featured in the January 2012 edition of <em>InStyle</em> magazine.</p>

These new blends expand the collection’s color palette to eight earthy blends that mix natural stone with glass tiles in two mesh-mounted size options: 5/8” x 5/8” mosaic and random linear mosaic sizes.</p>

The new Micro Flecks collection features a fine grain detail, while the Geo Flecks collection reflects the look of natural granite and limestone graining.</p>
<p>“This re-launch of Daltile’s ONE Quartz surfaces brings together the beauty of natural quartz and modern technology, paired with more than two dozen trend-right colors, to create countertops that are as stunning as they are durable,” said Lori Kirk-Rolley, senior marketing director at Daltile.</p>
<p>The new Micro Flecks collection is available in 16 colors, including seven warm tones (Cancun Beach, Sea Salts, Harvest Grains, Sand Storm, Caribou Trail, Java Bean and Mango Grove), four cool hues (Morning Frost, Woven Wool, Brushed Flannel and Meteor Shower) and five mirror-flecked colors (Fresh Linens, Sunflower Bouquet, Strawberry Patch, Moonlight Swim and Star Gazer).</p>
<p>The Geo Flecks collection features ten colors with granite-look graining (Pacific Sand, Pebble Beach, Collected Shells, Rum Raisin, Pheasant Run, Alpine Shadow, Twilight Canyon, Lunar Landing, Crystal Springs and Charcoal Sketch) and four colors with limestone-look graining (Summer Dawn, Mojave Gold, Spanish Moss and Stormy Sky).</p>
<p>Both ONE Quartz collections and all colors come in a 120” x 55” slab with a polished finish. Tiles are stocked in six colors (Collected Shells, Harvest Grains, Charcoal Sketch, Woven Wool, Star Gazer and Cancun Beach) in the 12” x 12” size with a polished finish. Tiles can also be special ordered in 12” x 12”, 12” x 24”, 18” x 18” and 24” x 24” sizes in all 30 colors. Additionally, special order finishes for both slabs and tiles include semi-polished, honed, leather and sand-blasted.</p>
<p>ONE Quartz is made with eco-friendly, bio-friendly and sustainable materials and processing. The compound stone does not contain or release volatile organic compounds (VOCs), nor do its manufacturing plants emit any gas or sound pollutants. Additionally, 99 percent of the water used in the process is recycled.</p>
<p>ONE Quartz is suitable for all levels of residential and commercial design, including countertops, walls, backsplashes and floors. ONE Quartz products are nonporous &#8212; reducing the potential for bacterial growth and allowing them to resist common food stains. In fact, the product line has been certified by NSF International (nsf.org) to be a safer surface for food preparation.</p>

<p>The coastal cottage-style home, named “Bayou Bend” and located in the Terra Bella Village subdivision of Covington, Louisiana, showcases the latest design ideas and style tips from the popular magazine. The home was featured heavily in the August issue of <em>Southern Living</em>.</p>
<p>Products featured in the <em>Sout</em><em>hern Living</em> 2010 Idea House include Metal Signatures, Modern Dimensions, Octagon &amp; Dot, Metal Effects and Stone a la Mod, as well as many others.</p>
<p>As part of Daltile’s ongoing public relations efforts, the company seeks product placement opportunities in popular home improvement and design television programs on Discovery Channel, DIY Network, HGTV, A&amp;E, and most notably ABC’s <em>Extreme Makeover: Home Edition</em>, as well as high-profile showcase homes produced by national magazines, such as <em>Southern Living</em>, <em>Esquire</em> and <em>Better Homes &amp; Gardens</em>.</p>
