UPTOWN PLAYERS PRESENTS
ZANNA DON’T
DALLAS - July 30, 2008 -
Uptown Players continues its season with Tim Acito’s Zanna,
Don’t, held August 8 – September 7, 2008, at the KD Studio
Theatre. Nominee for Best Off-Broadway Musical, Zanna, Don't
is a musical fairy tale about a matchmaking teen who turns
relationships upside-down, challenges our point of view and changes
the world forever.
Welcome to Heartsville High, where the hormones are raging and the
captain of the football team falls in love with the overachieving
straight-A student. Shocking? You don't know the half of it. This is
not your average American high school. With a high-octane score that
runs the gamut from funk and R&B to classical musical theatre and
touching ballads, Zanna, Don't takes you on a wild ride!

Thomas Renner. This production is under the direction of Coy
Covington, with choreography by Nan Gammon and music direction by
