BAKERY EXPANDS ITS PRESENCE TO ROCKWALL
New
lakeside café will open in December
DALLAS - October 11, 2007
- Celebrity Café & Bakery, a long-time Dallas favorite and best
known for its decorated sugar cookies, is opening its 10th
Dallas/Fort Worth location in Rockwall, Texas. Celebrity will be
located in The Harbor on Lake Ray Hubbard, a new mixed-use
development along the banks of the lake, which is located about 15
minutes northeast of Dallas. The restaurant is slated to open in
December 2007.
“Rockwall County was recently named one of the top five fastest
growing counties in the United States, so we felt it would be a
great place for us to expand,” said Mark Menking, president of
Celebrity Café & Bakery. “The buzz and active lifestyle surrounding
The Harbor is the perfect environment for our new location – lots of
families, lots of energy and lots of fun.”
The Harbor on Lake Ray Hubbard is also home to a variety of
restaurants and entertainment options, including a Cinemark
12-screen movie theatre, Cold Stone Creamery, Dodies Seafood,
Gloria’s, Ruby Tuesday, the Hilton Bella Harbor Hotel and Conference
Center, residential living and office space.
Celebrity Café & Bakery is well-known for its made-from-scratch
menu. Specialty items include dessert treats such as cakes,
pastries, petit fours and famous decorated iced sugar cookies; lunch
items such as, salads, soups, and sandwiches; and baked breakfast
goods such as scones, cinnamon rolls, muffins, teabreads and more.
Celebrity Café & Bakery currently has nine locations in the
Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, including Addison, Arlington,
Colleyville, Flower Mound, Frisco, Highland Park Village, Las
Colinas, North Dallas and Plano. Each location is open from 8 a.m. -
7 p.m. Monday-Saturday; store hours on Sunday vary.
