
Ben E. Keith company names two new vice presidents
Beverage division
vice presidents promoted to corporate-level vice president positions
DALLAS, July 9, 2008 –
Ben E. Keith Company, the nation’s ninth largest food service
distributor and second largest independent Anheuser-Busch
distributor, has promoted John Hallam and Robert Hallam, Jr. to vice
presidents. Both previously held vice president positions within
the company’s beverage division, and will both now oversee
management of the company and its food and beverage divisions.
“For more than a decade, John and Robert
have been model employees and leaders within our company,” said
Robert Hallam, chairman and chief executive officer of Ben E. Keith
Company. “They have worked in several of our current beverage and
food markets and take with them solid relationships and best
practices from each to bolster the company’s efforts.”
John and Robert have worked in various
positions with the company since 1990 and 1993, respectively. John
previously served as a vice president and general manager of the
Dallas beverage branch. Robert was the vice president of marketing
for Ben E. Keith Beverages. Both John and Robert also served on the
respective executive committees for Ben E. Keith Company’s food and
beverage divisions, as well as the corporate executive committee.
James Hallam will succeed Robert Hallam,
Jr., as vice president of marketing for the company’s beverage
division. Jason Bush, previously assistant general manager of the
Dallas beverage branch, has been promoted to fill the general
manager position.
