Entertainment Venue Nowhere, TX to Open This Summer in West Dallas

May 30, 2018 — A new entertainment venue called Nowhere, TX is opening this Summer in West Dallas. Located on a former industrial site at the intersection of Commerce Street and Edgefield Streets (1216 W. Commerce), Nowhere, TX will feature pop-up events and a biergarten-style dining concept with rotating chefs/menus.

This Saturday 7-11 p.m., Nowhere, TX will host a pop-up preview party, with a concert by Cure for Paranoia, art by DTOX Art and 18th & Vine BBQ (while it lasts), to introduce the concept and give locals a taste of what’s to come. In lieu of admission, donations of any size will be accepted to raise funds for Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Reservations are required at nowheretx.com.

“Our hope is to create a unique space that showcases a creative new use for the spaces along this industrial corridor. We plan to host and produce events at Nowhere, TX for a few years,” said Brent Jackson, President of Oaxaca Interests, the Dallas-based investment, development and asset management company that is bringing Nowhere, TX to life.

Internationally-recognized landscape architecture firm Hocker Design Group has been tapped to design the three-building, 2.8-acre venue’s landscaping and hardscaping details, including patios, gathering spaces and an enclosed children’s play area.
